Nestled within the weathered walls of a 100‑year‑old pear cannery in downtown Hood River, The Ruins is more than a venue—it’s a living backdrop of romance, grit, and Gorge energy. Named “Best Urban Space Outside Portland” by Oregon Bride Magazine, it offers flexible indoor‑outdoor flow with The Ruins courtyard and The elegant Back Room.
With space for up to 220 seated guests outdoors and 120 indoors, you can plan everything from rehearsal dinners under the open sky to dance‑floor roaring receptions inside. Our team provides full bar service featuring locally sourced beer, wine, cider, and non‑alcoholic drinks—no outside alcohol allowed.We don’t offer in‑house catering, but we’ll happily refer you to trusted local caterers who elevate your food to match the venue’s energy. To book your date, we require a 50% deposit and signed contract.

Location: The Ruins is located in downtown Hood River, Oregon, within walking distance to hotels, restaurants and night life.
Capacity: Outdoors, The Ruins has a capacity of 220 seated guests and the inside space has a capacity of 120 seated guests.
Alcohol: We serve locally sourced beer, wine, cider, and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. The Ruins staffs and operates the bar.
Catering: We do not provide catering, but will refer you to several local catering partners we've loved working with!
Lodging: Our neighbors at Lightwell Hotel have 69 rooms and suites, making it a perfect home base for the whole wedding to stay in downtown Hood River, plus an on-site adventure planning lounge, restaurants and a spa.
Deposit: We require a 50% deposit and signed contract to reserve your date.
