Introductions and appearances by Bjarne Salen, Mallory Duncan and Lucas Wachs - the films that are being presented are below
1. The Fifty Project - Polar Star - Introduced by Bjarne Salen, this will be the latest episode in the backcountry YouTube ski series,The Fifty Project. Starring Cody Townsend, Vivian Bruchez and Bjarne Salen, this episode documents their attempt to ski the Polar Star Couloir in Baffin Island.
2. The Blackcountry Journal - A skier contemplates his connection to skiing and the mountains. As he hurries through the streets of LA, his path takes a turn after bumping into a jazz musician who helps him discover the correlation between jazz and skiing—an expression of art, skiing, and black culture. The Blackcountry Journal is a part of the Official Selection of the 2024 Banff Mountain Film Festival.
3. Here, Hold my Kid - This film follows two professional skiers, Elyse Saugstad and Jackie Paaso, who are also two new mothers. This is a quirky documentary style film capturing the highs and lows of two women determined to succeed with side-splitting, hilarious moments.
4. Lost in Thought - Produced by Level 1, this film finds Lucas Wachs and friends offering a slightly softer, off-beat approach to pow skiing. Whether by sled or by foot, in the Tetons or the Sierra, expect good camaraderie and excellent skiing.
