HOOD RIVER, OR — The Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association (CGOA) invites the community to celebrate Valentine’s Day with ROMANCE IN RHYTHM – VALENTINE’S DANCE, a night of live big band jazz, romance, and dancing with CGOA’s Jazz Collective Big Band, featuring vocalist Karen Kurzawa. Delicious desserts will be provided by Boda’s Kitchen.
Hosted at The Ruins in downtown Hood River, the evening is built around a high-energy dance set from 7:00–9:00 PM—the kind of night where the band isn’t background music; it drives the room. Expect lush ballads for slow dancing, swinging standards, and uptempo favorites that keep people on their feet.
